Epistematica conventionally organizes training courses with the scope of distributing competence concerning Description
Logics-based technologies.
Specifically, there are training schedules for professional individuals with a logical and
technological profile.
Currently the following course is available:
LT 02 - How to use Protégé and RacerPro for writing and managing ontologies
This course concerns basic training. At the end of the course the participant will have gained the necessary knowledge to realize
ontologies and the competence for using necessary technological tools (editor, reasoner, etc.).

LT 01 - Introduction to knowledge engineering
This course concerns the acquisition of theoretical knowledge necessary for specialized training related to a logical and
technological approach.
LT 03 - Semantic queries
This course concerns specialized technological training. At the end of the course the participant will have gained the necessary
knowledge of formal logic and competence for using description logics to formulate semantic queries.
T 04 - Architecture and tools for automatic reasoning
This course concerns basic technologic training. At the end of the course the participant will have gained the necessary knowledge for
understanding the functioning of an architecture based on Description Logics and automatic reasoning services.
T 05 - Applications of automatic reasoning
This course concerns basic technological training. At the end of the course the participant will have gained the knowledge necessary to
comprehend the working of an application that uses technologies based on Description Logics and automatic reasoning services.
